“The struggle for survival” may be one of the most accurate description for the Armenians who lived in their historic homeland during the last 1000 years.

From the second part of the 19th century, especially in the Western Armenia, conditions of Armenians worsened.

During the First World War Armenians faced one of the hardest moment of their entire history. But thanks to the small group of patriots, Armenians were able not only to prevent entire elimination of Armenian population from their historic homeland, but also regained the right to have a free state: Independent country on the small piece of their homeland.

External-internal conditions of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920) were horrible, so many problems and challenges. But the government and people were able to do so many things… .

Internal and external conditions and challenges of the Third Republic of Armenia compared with the First Republic of Armenia were and are incomparably better, but the history of the last 2 decades shows that it isn’t enough…
